Epic 2015 video

We were asked to write what was correct and what was incorrect on the video EPIC 2015.

For the Epic 2015 video (which was uploaded to YouTube on 03NOV07) here is what I saw that was correct:

'89-Tim Burton-lee invented World Wide Web
'94- Amazon was created
'98-Google was born
'99- blogger came out
'02- Friendster was created
'02- Google New is edited by computers
'02- Picasa was introduced (?)
'04- Gmail is created
'07- Microsoft was born

What I found to be incorrect:

'06- Google creates google grid limitless storage
'08- Google and Amazon merge to create googlezon
'08- MSN buys newsbotster- where you can store news and can comment on what you see
'08- New York Times goes to on-line paid prescription and streaming is open to googlezon people
'08- Microsoft and googlezon go head to head
'11- New York Times sues googlezon for copy write (fact stripping robots) and takes it to supreme court
4AUG11- Supreme court favors googlezon
Sunday March 4th, 2014- EPIC is born Evolving Personalized Information Construct- customized package for everyone.
'14- N.Y.T. goes off -line and is print only for the elite and elderly
'15- Pinky events a tag broadcast where people can tag those around them and upload video's/photo's

Creating an HTML

For class we had to create an HTML page. Here's how it went for me:
     
The very first step I could not complete! I could not locate the view menu options and open up source....I have no idea if maybe it was because they were calling it something I am not use to or what but I could not locate the source they mentioned. It also could be because I got a new cheap computer and am simply just using it for school work (word and internet) and it is so simple it's "hard" to use at times!

I then decided to skip to the following steps and see how this will pan out. I found the notepad and just followed step by step and I created a page. I tried to have a color in the background but that did not work so I am not sure if its because I already had a body part and ended it or I was mistyping something . But it's all good. So I created a page and overall it wasn't too hard but I am still confused because didn't I create a website? If not then how come it came up as a website? If I am able to create a website then why does one need to purchase a domain? Or does one buy a domain and then create the html for that site? Like I mentioned before I am not tech savvy at all, so this stuff is confusing to me.

I liked the little marquee that goes across the page and I dislike that the color part did not show up. Other than that I have no idea what I will use this for or what the purpose of having this is for (for a person like me that is- ha! :)

Differences:
P.S hand delivers the mail
E-mail gets sent electronically
P.S. takes longer to deliver/receive
E-mail is faster at deliver/receive
P.S. needs stamps to get sent
E-mail needs a computer and internet to send
P.S. Can have name off a little bit (G'ma/G'pa) and address but still gets delivered to right person
E-mail- You have to have exact name and address or it won't get sent to the right person
